The mission of the Institute for Socio-Economic Justice and Progressive Community Development, Inc. is to organize, educate, protect, defend and empower the Imperial Valley region and other intertwined areas in health, social, economic, environmental and cultural interests to build capacity for a sustainable community with a focus on the needs of the underserved; people of color, women, children, immigrants, the undereducated and people living below the poverty level.
